About Seven1 Media

Seven1 Media is a digital marketing agency for businesses in the Twin Cities area. We specialize in social media management, Facebook advertisements, and website design. Our website design experience spans mediums such as Wix, Wordpress, Network Solutions, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript; and it translates to just about any website design software. Additionally, we have experience working with graphic design on canva.com for social media posts, pictures for websites, brochures, logos, and more. Finally, we have extensive experience with writing blog posts for search engine optimization (SEO). We write every blog post with the goal of increasing a website’s relevance in search engine results. We do this primarily through the use of keywords and links.

Digital marketing is our passion and we are constantly searching for ways to improve our marketing strategies. Online courses, and Youtube videos provide us with many new ideas to consider implementing. Our founder is studying marketing and entrepreneurial management at the University of Minnesota and is learning many new skills and marketing concepts through his coursework.

We feel that digital marketing activities are the future for many current companies and that there are many missed opportunities for businesses. Whether it is something as small as setting up an email list or creating Facebook advertisements, we are here to help. Whatever is needed, we will use every resource at our disposal to acquire more customers.

Meet the Team

Tim Wilmot

My name is Tim Wilmot. I am a senior at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities studying marketing and entrepreneurial management.

Ever since I was a kid I have been interested in running my own business. In middle school, a friend and I had a lawn-mowing service and went door-to-door in our neighborhood looking for customers. I have since worked at Caribou Coffee and had a digital marketing internship for Elysian Construction in Minneapolis. These experiences, along with my coursework, have allowed me to become well-rounded in marketing for companies big and small.

I have seen things that I would like to emulate, as well as many things that I would do differently. For instance, many marketing agencies outsource work for lower prices in foreign countries. I strongly dislike this cost-cutting strategy as, in my experience, it often results in subpar work. I do all of my own work and am well-versed in Facebook and Instagram marketing, Google Adwords, blog posts for search engine optimization, and email marketing. Additionally, I have a solid knowledge base of website design, search engine optimization, and graphic design.

In my past marketing experience I have done Facebook ads, mailers, automated chatbots, blog posts, and search engine optimization. However, not all companies have the same needs, so your company's needs will likely be different than those of a company in another industry.

Caleb Brooks

My name is Caleb Brooks. I have an undergraduate degree from the University of St. Thomas in English Professional Writing. Currently, I am completing a Master of Science in Business Analytics at the Opus College of Business. I am also preparing to commission as an officer into the US Army post-graduation.

Growing up, I worked in my father's carpentry business. It was there that I discovered a love for small businesses and learned about the importance of reaching ever larger audiences. Since then I have developed a passion for partnering with small- and mid-sized enterprises to increase their clientele base and their sales. After all, small businesses are the life-blood of the US economy.

Throughout my education and the jobs that I have held, I have become well versed in content creation, content marketing, blog writing, and research for search engine optimization. I have also honed my written and oral communication skills. If these principles are intelligently implemented into your organization, they will certainly pay dividends both now and in the future.
